From years of battling anorexia to finding her strength in the world of powerlifting, Dana’s journey into sport began at the tailend of her recovery. What started as a pursuit of being as small as possible soon transformed when she discovered a discipline that measured only the weight on the bar, not the size of her body. That pivotal shift reshaped both her career and her sport.
While completing a degree in exercise science with aspirations of entering medical research, Dana began competing in powerlifting. Alongside her studies, social media became a platform that gave rise to her coaching business, The Growth Method, a space dedicated to inspiring others to embrace taking up space and embodying strength.
Now, with five years of experience coaching women across the globe and five years as a competitive powerlifting athlete, Dana’s influence extends beyond the platform. Her work champions body autonomy, empowerment, and redefining what strength truly looks like. Through her coaching and athletic career, Dana continues to foster resilience, encourage growth, and provide a powerful voice for women challenging limiting beliefs.
