BIOGRAPHY

Ebony Lane is an Australian 100m sprinter, national representative and Commonwealth Games athlete who has established herself as one of Australia’s leading female sprinters.

A multiple-time Australian representative, Ebony has competed on some of the biggest stages in international athletics, including the World Championships, World Relays, Diamond League and Commonwealth Games. She was also part of Australia’s record-breaking women’s 4x100m relay squad and a reserve for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In 2026, Ebony enjoyed one of her strongest seasons to date, setting a personal best of 11.29 seconds over 100m and recording a wind-assisted 11.16. She made her individual major championship debut in the 100m at the Commonwealth Games, progressing to the semi-finals, before helping Australia to a fourth-place finish in the 4x100m relay. Her season also included victory at the Maurie Plant Meet, bronze at the Australian Championships and silver at the Oceania Championships.

Known for her commitment to training, recovery and performance, Ebony takes pride in continually finding ways to improve both on and off the track.
