With the recently released Apple Pie, Eggnog and Sugar Cookie seasonal varieties of best-selling 100% Whey Gold Standard, we thought you could use some recipe suggestions for giving your protein shakes an even more seasonal flavor. Try these easy-to-make recipes and treat yourself to more than fast-acting whey protein's anabolic and anti-catabolic support.

1.) Cinnamon Apple Pie Shake

8-10 Ounces of Cold Water
1 Scoop of Apple Pie 100% Whey Gold Standard
1 Cup Chopped Apples
½ Tsp. Cinnamon

TIP: Pour water into the blender first, followed by the whey and apple chunks. Cover and blend on high until smooth. Then toss in a couple of ice cubes and blend for another 10 to 20 seconds. The added fast carbs make this tasty treat particularly effective for post-workout recovery and the cinnamon helps boost your fat-burning potential.

2.) Creamy Chocolate Sugar Cookie Shake

8-10 Ounces Skim Milk
½ Scoop Chocolate Malt 100% Whey Gold Standard
½ Scoop Sugar Cookie 100% Whey Gold Standard

Options: Since the whey is Instantized, you can mix this shake up with a shaker cup or even a glass and spoon. The milk adds a creamier texture, but this one can just as easily be made with cold water.
