Protein Powered Corn Flakes

If your typical breakfast centers around a beneficial but sometimes boring bowl of corn flakes, here's an easy way to boost the protein potency of this staple morning meal without adding a whole lot of fat, sugar or cholesterol. Pour out 6 ounces of skim milk and stir in a scoop of Gold Standard 100% Whey. You'll probably want to choose one of the vanilla flavors since it'll be poured over cereal. But if you're up for experimenting with new and different tastes, grab a Gold Standard 100% Whey 16 Flavor Variety Pack and go to town!

The Bigger Picture: Flavoring the skim milk you use to eat a 2 cup serving of a popular brand of corn flakes adds 24 grams of fast-digesting whey protein to the mix along with extra calcium. With roughly a 2:1 ratio of carbs to proteins, you've just created a very suitable meal for pre-workout energy or post-workout recovery. That's good to know if you're a morning training type.

That's an awesome suggestion because I work out early morning before work.

Awesome in Total and Wheaties too.
I also enjoy it in Oatmeal.. Just use instant oats and a little milled flax and prepare it cold the night before--do not cook.
