Do You Do Wellness Well?
Last year, the Council for Responsible Nutrition conducted a My Wellness Scorecard National Study to analyze health and wellness trends. There was a lot of good news, tempered by some that wasn't all that terrific.
For instance, 51% of American adults say they avoid highly processed and fatty foods, although 27% said they probably consume too much red meat and cream cheese. 63% of us try to eat 2 to 3 servings of whole grains every day while 30% of us don't monitor salt intake.
The Bigger Picture: Among the more positive findings in this study was the fact that over half of American adults take multivitamins, and 36% try to exercise at least 2 or 3 times a week. The challenge is in keeping yourself focused on long-term success.
