Exercise Whenever You Want

If weight management is one of the reasons you regularly head to the gym, a study published in the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism offers some advice on timing. They had a group of 9 healthy men exercise for 45 minutes at 75% of capacity. Some went to work in the morning, others were assigned to an afternoon exercise session. Over the next 26 hours, macronutrient choices and calorie intake were analyzed, and there weren't any significant differences between groups.

True Strength Moment: This research is good news for morning people who prefer to start their day with physical challenges, and also for people who are energized from an afternoon trip to the gym. You won't eat any more on either workout schedule. So get out there whenever it suits you and keep chasing those goals.
