Ingredients

Method

  1. Pre- heat oven to 180°C
  2. Spoon the mincemeat into a bowl and stir in the whey powder.
  3. Butter a tray of 12 muffins tin
  4. Roll out the pastry with a little flour and cut out 12 discs of pastry to fit the muffin tin. Spoon a little of the mincemeat in each.
  5. Roll out the remaining pastry and cut out 12 star shaped and press down. Brush with a little whisked egg yolk to create a glazed finish. Pop into the pre- heated oven and bake for 15 minutes until golden brown.
