2022 was a challenging year for her; was struck with covid-19 in May and the long-covid infection subsequently led to intercostal muscle injury that took her another 2 months to recover, so much so that she had to forgo some ultra distance races that she have signed up for, including her debut in an Ironman70.3 Desaru. Despite the setback, she stayed focus on her recovery, resume training under proper guidance and getting her diets right including incorporating Optimum Nutrition’s products and was able to get back to her favourite sport with some podium results to wrap up the year on a high notes.

Azleen is looking forward to some big races in 2023 and continue advocate the importance of mental wellness as part of a healthy and balance lifestyle.
