Protein Balls

 

Optional : To Coat The Protein Balls

 

Option 1

  • 3 tbsp desiccated coconut Option 2
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free white chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

 

Option 2

  • 1/2 cup sugar-free white chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

Directions

 

  1. Add the dried fruit into a food processor and process until they are finely chopped.

  2. Add the protein powder, coconut, almond meal, maple syrup, vanilla and water to the food processor, and blend until well combined.

  3. Check that the mixture is sufficiently moist to be able to roll into balls. If not, add a little water and blend again.

  4. Scoop out mixture using an ice cream scoop and roll into small balls.

Option 1: Roll in the coconut.

Option 2: stir together melted white choc and turmeric in a bowl, and dip each ball in the chocolate until evenly coated. Let dry on baking paper in the fridge.

Storage

Store protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or the freezer for up to 3 months.
