Protein Rice Krispies

  • 2 cups Rice Bubbles
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut or seed butter)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup (or any sticky sweetener)
  • 1 cup Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Isolate Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 tbsp choc buttons, optional


1.      Line a small square baking tray with baking paper.

2.      In a mixing bowl, add the Rice Bubbles and protein powder, mix.

3.      In a microwave proof bowl, melt peanut butter with honey until combined. Mix and pour over the Rice Bubbles and protein.

4.      Mix together until fully incorporated. Pour into the lined tin and press firmly. Place into a refrigerator and refrigerate until firm.

5.      Melt the chocolate buttons, using a spoon drizzle the chocolate over the top of the protein rice krispies. Let it set and then slice into bars.
