Nami is a national athlete, a powerlifter and a mother. She is an inspiration for young Indian girls who are learning to lift. She holds WPC World Record in Deadlifting in Under 56 kg weight category with a best lift of 172.5kgs at World Powerlifting Congress World Cup held in Russia in 2019. Was also awarded Best Deadlifter across weight categories while bagging 2 Golds for the country.
