Thirty-seven commando soldiers performed sets of all 5 variations during 3 trials. A force plate revealed that peak ground reaction forces and rate of force development were highest with standard countermovement push-ups. Flight time was greatest during kneeling style push-ups. Using a variety of these movements can help you change up a stale power training routine.
